Congratulations, Class of ’21.
While senior year may look a little different than expected, this is still a momentous occasion—and we’re committed to recognizing you, your classmates, and your achievements during your time at Stanford.
Countdown to Commencement Event
Keep Thursday, June 10, open because we have two senior celebrations for you to savor. Stop by the Quad any time between 5 and 8 p.m. to take photos with your ’21 class plaque—solo, with your besties, classy or crazy poses, awesome outfits, or all of the above! Everyone say “cheese”!
After taking your photos, head to the Arbor and Tresidder patio from 7 to 10 p.m. for a Countdown to Commencement Party featuring music, delicious food, drinks and special memories with your classmates. Bring your SUID and DL or passport—registration will be located on Santa Teresa Street.
Class of ’21 Senior Class Book
Catch up with your class right now and stay connected after graduation with your exclusive ’21 Senior Class Book. Share photos and stories, and check out what your classmates are up to. You can search for people by geography, interests, profession and more. Keep an eye on your inbox—your invite to join the ’21 Senior Class Book will arrive soon!
Senior Time Capsule
As graduating seniors, it’s your turn to share treasured memories by dropping an item in the ’21 Time Capsule. This unique and important tradition dates back to 1896, and capsules are located in the arcades of the Main Quad. Find a little something representing your time at Stanford, and keep an eye on your inbox for details on how to participate. The Time Capsule will be sealed in the ground under your class diamond.
Letter to Your Senior Self
Flashback four years ago... Do you remember writing a letter to your senior self at the Frosh Winter Warm-Up event? We’ve kept your letter safe and sound, and the time has come for us to return it to you. If you wrote a letter, you’ll receive an email from us with instructions on how to reconnect with your frosh reflections.
Recognizing Senior Contributions
This spring quarter, we’ll be announcing the J.E. Wallace Sterling Award and the Award of Excellence recipients. We look forward to recognizing these students who have made such remarkable contributions to the class community.
The university will be taking the lead on Commencement plans; we encourage you to check online for the latest information.
